About Nunawading CC
Nunawading Cricket Club was formed in 1927 as Tunstall Cricket Club playing at Silver Grove in Tunstall which became Nunawading in 1946. In 1972 the ground at Silver Grove was required by the council to build a recreation centre and the club moved to its current location at Mahoneys Rd, Forest Hill. We are affiliated with the Box Hill Reporter District Cricket Association.
Over the years the club has experienced periods of domination over which time we won many premierships in all our grades. Our First XI was arguably the best team in the competition for most of 1957-85.
Our pride and joy is our Junior Program where we have over 150 children of all ages and abilities wearing the purple and gold. The photo here shows our premiership girls team in 2017-18.
See the ‘History’ link for a full history of the club.

Club Programs
Woolworths Junior Blasters
A program for young children that, in a fun, game-oriented environment, develops motor skills and hand-eye co-ordination with having fun as the key priority. The program is run by Claire and Dan Smith
Super 7s and Fast 9s
‘Graduates’ of Blasters move here where real games are played on smaller pitches, smaller boundaries and with less fielders
U12-U18
Real cricket is played with an emphasis on equal opportunity, participation and individual and team development over team success in U12 & U14. U16 and U18 players play games more aligned to senior cricket in order to develop resilience, humility and an understanding of team dynamics
Senior Cricket
We have 5 senior teams participating in the BHRDCA, Our First XI will play for the Peter White Shield in 2021-22. The program is run by Club Coach Rob Ferdinands
