Dear Nuna families,

I hope that you all had a safe and relaxing Christmas and New Year. Training starts back this week with games beginning next week. Your coach and/or team manager should be sending out details via WhatsApp.

BHRDCA representative cricket
This season’s VMCU Carnival was held 4th – 15th January, with a number of Nuna players selected to represent BHRDCA. Congratulations to Zac Warburton & Dhruv Nanda (U14), Nanak Sidana (U12), Amelia Kennett, Jessie Pietersz & Penny Loveridge (U12). Kaelan Batcho (U16) was also selected to play in the VSDCA JG Craig Shield for Donvale Cricket Club. As always, all players selected did us proud!

NCC trivia & 80s band night
Our main social and fundraising night for the season – 80s live music trivia night – will be held on Saturday March 4th. This year we are combining Greg Clark’s famous Nuna trivia night with live 80s music, which promises to be a great night of fun and frivolity.

It would be great to see Junior families support the night and join in the fun (line up your baby sitters now)! We encourage people to wear 80’s garb and stick around and have a dance to all the songs after the trivia is done.

Tickets are only $25 each with first drink free, available online only via Eventbrite: shorturl.at/AMSW4.

BYO food for your table.

Get a table together and buy your tickets together. Tickets are limited and will sell quickly, so get in quick!

There will be a silent auction and raffle on the night with some great prizes.

Let Blewey know if you have any questions or can donate any raffle/silent auction prizes (andrew.siebel.as, 0402 260 545).

Bunnings BBQ
We have one more Bunnings BBQ booked in for Sunday 12th February at Vermont South. Please add your name to the roster here: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/4090F4FACAD2BA2F94-bunnings2.

Nuna team photos
Field of View Photography will once again be doing our Junior team photos (Blasters – U18) over February. Please take note of your team’s time on the schedule below and put it in your calendar. Kangas tops and white pants for Super 7s – U18s, Kangas top and black leggings for Stage 1 girls. Thanks to Jean-Paul Lefebure for coordinating this initiative. Monday 6th Feb & Friday 10th Feb are also opportunities to take any individual shots if team photos are missed.

Cheers,
Andrew Siebel
