It’s nearly finals time!
We are on the homeward stretch, with Blasters, Friday and Sunday games all finishing up their regular seasons this week. There are so many people to thank for getting us through another season of cricket, all of which will be duly recognised at the Junior Presentation (Sunday 20th March). See flyer below for more information. Whilst a few of our competitive teams have struggled on field, we have got through a whole season of fun from Blasters, Super 7s through to U18s.
Our U14 Gold team has had an outstanding season, remaining undefeated and sitting atop the ladder. They have locked in a home final, which will be held at Mahoneys Reserve on Friday 4th March. It would be great to get some Nuna purple around the ground supporting the boys.
We will have food at the club on Friday night, as well as a BBQ lunch on Sunday after the Super 7s/Fast 9s games.
Our ‘Player of the match’ awards are generously provided by TidBit Cafe, 94 South Parade, Blackburn thanks to Aks Tidiwala and family. Please support local businesses where possible.

Nuna Apparel
Nuna apparel can still be ordered using this form in preparation for next season.
We encourage Juniors to order one of our new Nuna ‘Kangas’ top (see above sample) with their own name and number on the back. These polos are great for training and hope to introduce them on match day next season.
Any queries please email apparel.
Juniors playing Seniors
Our Senior teams have benefitted from great contributions from our Junior players throughout the 2021/2022 season. Across our five senior teams, we have had between 12-16 Juniors proudly representing Nuna each week. Many of these players will also play key roles come finals time.
Girls Cricket @ Nuna
Our girls cricket program continues to go from strength to strength, thanks to the hard work and dedication of Coach Rob. We now have 12 girls representing Nuna on a Wednesday night in our Stage 1 team. The girls have four rounds remaining in the season, including a home game on Wednesday 9th March on Bob Saker Oval. Come along and support the girls!
