Nuna’s junior program aspires to be community-focussed. The Club aims to provide an environment which promotes:
The opportunity for children to learn about and develop their cricket skills
Participation in a safe and friendly team environment
A healthy active lifestyle with opportunities and activities which increase fitness
A social environment for children and their families to enjoy the company of friends
Opportunities for girls and boys to enjoy playing cricket – and to achieve their best
Community, supporting each other and overall enjoyment
Registration fees remain competitive with Super 7s/Fast 9s/U12s: $135, U14-U18s: $185, Stage 1 girls: $105 and Blasters: $99. We also understand the potential and real impacts of COVID-19 continues to have on our Nuna families. As always, you can reach out to me or the Junior Treasurer if you are experiencing financial hardship.
Junior online registrations are now open!
Junior registration day will still be held this Saturday 28th August, 9-11am but we will "pivot" to online.
Some of our Junior committee and coaches will be online to answer your questions, assist with online registration and/or enquire about apparel.
There are spots for new players at all age groups, but we are particularly looking for players in the U16 age group.
Given the current environment and uncertainty around so many things due to COVID-19, I want to reiterate our club’s commitment to the local community and providing an opportunity for young people to participate in community sport. Rest assured, the NCC Committee in partnership with the Box Hill Reporter District Cricket Association will be doing everything we can to get cricket up and running and hope that you will be #Committed2Nuna in 2021/22.
Our ‘Player of the match’ awards will be generously provided by TidBit Cafe, 94 South Parade, Blackburn thanks to Aks Tidiwala and family. Please support local businesses where possible.
EMAIL juniors IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO DISCUSS SPONSORSHIP/ADVERTISING OPPORTUNITIES
