COVID-19 Officer
Rob Nash has been attending a number of Cricket Victoria and Association information sessions and will share more details about returning to play at our Junior Information Session. We encourage all parents to complete the following online infection control training module (takes about 20mins to complete) to ensure that our Nuna community are well-prepared as "we are all in this together": https://www.health.gov.au/resources/apps-and-tools/covid-19-infection-control-training

Tickets are only $5 each and are purchased online. This is our major club fundraiser for the season, so we encourage those who can to support the club in this way. You can either scan the attached QR code or visit the website link: https://toyotagoodforcricket.raffletix.com.au/nunawadingcc?v=1

Woolworths Junior Blasters
Cricket Victoria is recommending a start date for Woolworths Cricket Blast Programs of the 6th of February. Current restrictions in place across Metro/Regional Victoria state that we can’t move to the “Final Step” in the State Government roadmap until we have no new cases for 14 days across Victoria. While this is currently hoped to occur by mid-late November it is expected that restrictions will continue to ease as each month passes. Pushing your program start date to the 6th of February will allow us to plan the program with more certainty – including running programs in a Covid-Safe environment, greater access to the facility and with group sizes of 50+ at any one time.

WOOLWORTHS ANYWHERE CRICKET BLAST
Cricket Australia in collaboration with Cricket Victoria will be launching a new online program – Woolworths Anywhere Cricket Blast. This free program has been designed to offer young Cricket Blasters the chance to participate in 6 x 20-minute interactive skills sessions in the comfort of their own home. This is a perfect way for Cricket Blasters to start their cricket journey this year, before transitioning to the face to face program. The online program will be launched on the 13th of October and can be completed at any time through term 4 and over the Christmas School Holidays before our WWCB program gets underway in Term 1 2021.

Cheers,
