Hi all,

The season is drawing to an end with Blasters, Super 7s & Fast 9s finished. The Stage 1 Girls play their last game tomorrow night, and our competitive age groups finished their home and away seasons on Friday.

Junior Finals
Overall, it has been a very successful season. Semi-Finals are on this Thursday and Friday, starting at 5pm both nights.

U18s (Coach: Gary Saultry)
With the team made up of half Nunawading, half Johnson Park players it was a slow start and a struggle to get a full team on the park. After Christmas the team came together well and played some excellent cricket. Unfortunately, missing out on finals by 0.01%, finishing 5th with 5 wins equal on points with 3rd & 4th!

U16s (Coach: Glen Mackie)
After a bit of an up and down season, the boys have hit their straps since the Christmas break. FInishing 3rd with 5 wins, they face Park Orchards CC at Domeney Reserve this week in the Semi-Final.

U14A (Coach: Andrew Siebel)
Only dropping one game in Round 3, the boys had a consistent year finishing in 2nd place with 5 wins. They host Heatherdale CC on the middle ground in the Semi-Final, which should be a great test.

U14C (Coach: Mal Jayakody)
A tough season, facing some opposition teams who are clearly not in the correct grade. Whilst competitive in some games they were unlucky not to get a win against Heatherdale CC when the game was abandoned half way through. For many, they will get another opportunity at U14 level next year, playing top age.

U12 (Coach: Raja Ravi)
Whilst there was a struggle to get a full team together early in the season, with the inclusion of some Fast 9s coming through the ranks Raja has got the team playing some very good cricket. They finished in 3rd position with 6 wins only one win away from top position with the best percentage. They will play Vermont CC (Purple) at Terrara Park Oval 2 in the Semi-Final.

Thank you to all Coaches, Team Managers and parent helpers who have got us to this point. It would be great to see some Nuna support over the final series and hopefully see some purple kangas shirts in the Grand Final next week.

Junior Presentation
Apologies for any confusion over the date for the Junior Presentation Night. This is a little complicated by our First XI in Senior Finals. We will be making a final call on whether we proceed with Sunday 19th March or push it back to Sunday 26th March by this Sunday evening. WATCH THIS SPACE!!

Cheers,
