Hope you had a wonderful and safe Christmas and New Year. I am sure, you would not be surprised to hear that the Eastern Cricket Association has only one accredited female umpire and the BHRDCA none!
I am excited to announce, we would love to change all that, by offering a free 4 week female only Umpire Coaching course starting Jan 31st 2022, open to everyone who is female.
- Do you want to learn more about the game of cricket!
- Have you wanted to learn to umpire but felt out of your depth, being the only female!
- Do you want to feel more comfortable umpiring cricket games, even if it is during your own or your child’s games at square leg!
- Would you like a part time job, that earns you money, whilst watching cricket!
- Do you want to see cricket from the best seat in the house!!
- Do you want to volunteer for something to get out of scoring!
Well, wait no longer, let’s learn together with this new, female only, umpiring course.
The 4 week course includes:
- Online interactive session with female umpires telling us their stories, how and why they got involved in cricket
- Online interactive session with overview of rules
- Face to Face practical session
- Accredited Online Course
- Finishing with hands on training, shadowing umpire mentors to get more comfortable to umpire yourselves!
