At Nuna, we call our newsletter ‘The Log’. It was called ‘The Log’ as it was initially penned by the past players and supporters who sat on a log at Silver Grove, our old home ground behind Nunawading Station.
This newsletter is pre ‘The Log’, written in December 1957, almost 63 years ago to the day.
You will see Bob Saker’s name listed in the First XI. Bob’s son Trevor is hosting an Over 60s game on Bob Saker Oval on Sunday December 20 and it would be great if a few supporters could come down. A few current and past players will be playing in thus game.
